I love all your bird pictures. When I was away last weekend I desperately tried to get some bird pictures.....any bird! ..... and came away with not a single picture. Do you just sit silently outside with your camera and wait patiently?

Hi Robyn,
Yes, sometimes I sit and wait, others are what I call grab shots and sometimes I use a tripod and remote release gear.
I hate to think of the number of tries that are trashed.
Try to get the birds to come to your garden by feeding them. I don't know about where you live but here some of our common birds become remarkably trusting and luckily our cat doesn't seem all that interested in them.
