Okay, so now I am trying to share a few photos via e-mail. With the handy share photos tool in PSE4, I get them into outlook express to send them. And then I keep getting this message.......The host 'pop3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3', Server: 'pop3', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
What in the world am I supposed to do with that??? I looked around on-line but could not find something that made a bit of sense. Anyone know how to solve this problem? I use windows XP, ugh and I am just lost on this one. Thanks for reading this far.

Ang,
Do you normally send email using Outlook Express? It must be set up with an active email account in order to work.

Ang,
The error message ox800CCCod indicates that your problem with outlok express is your Firewall. Try disabling it for a few minutes and see if you can send pictures. Doug

Hey Norm, I do have an account with outlook express, but am still getting this message. I tried several things to see if I could get it to change.
Doug,
Great idea, I tried it out, but that wasn't the problem either.
Thanks to both of you! I guess if that is the only thing I can't figure out in PSE I'm in okay shape!
Thanks again.

mom - belatedly or for others searching, your Outlook Express program is not finding your online account. This most likely means your account is not set up correctly in OE. You can verify this by sending an e-mail from OE outside of Elements and see if it goes through. If it does, then you have some other problem you may have to ask Adobe about or check their web site. If no mail goes through correctly, in OE go to the menu item Tools>Accounts>select Mail tab>select the mail service account you wish to use from the list>Properties button, then walk through all the settings and make sure they are right. You may have to get these from your mail account service (for example POP server address). If you have no account listed under the Mail service tab, then that is your problem, you have to install a mail service account by following the OE process with info from your mail service provider.
