Problem with slide show, makiing a CD

Does anyone know if there a better way to burn the slide show to DVD/CD, my machine or the software is slower than molasses in January.

Why is it that the software writes a WMV file for both the slide show and then again to burn a DVD, Am I doing something wrong.

It took my Computer almost 11/2 hrs to copy the slide show to the WMV, then another 11/2 hrs to copy it again to burn the CD.

Is this the way the bundled software works???? is theer another software that someone can recommend for making slide shows that are more user friendly and hopefuly faster.

If you are serious about slide shows, look at Pro Show Gold. It is not real expensive, you can buy it online and download it.

You can create stand alone .exe files, burn DVDs in a much shorter time than Elements.
