Does anyone happen to know what happened to the PET productivity downloads? Looking to download them and I can't find them! Did they remove them or am I just not looking in the right places? Thanks!

Try Vol 2 #3-- there is a download and a video so that should fix you up.

Congrats Carol!!!
By the way (this is PSE related, believe it or not!), Carol, how did you find PSE under Rosetta? Do let us know, this could help others. Her iMac is an Intel one, and PSE for Mac is not Intel native, yet.
Thanks :)

Oh I didn't realise it is the intel one ...
... I'm waiting to see how people go on with the new Macbook Pro and hopefully we will get one later this year.

PSE3 on the intel processor was a MAJOR concern for me while I was in the process of choosing this computer or the G5. I took the leap with the Core Duo and am very happy to report that there are no issues at all with PSE3 under Rosetta. I was running a combined 768 RAM on my laptop and was content with the speed of the program opening (about 20 seconds) and with the operations within PSE3. Every now and again a filter would lag, usually liquify, but generallly there were no issues. The iMac has 2GB RAM and opens PSE in just under 10 seconds and everything I've played with so far is noticably faster. I haven't had the chance to work on really big .psds or very complex issues yet, but based on what I've played with-it's lightening fast. Other non-universal programs, especially MSOffice are running seamlessly and very fast.
Just my opinion-I'm only a baby geek, so I may not be noticing every little thing that a more savvy user may. In the meantime...I couldn't be happier!:)

That is good news Carol! For alll who were postponing a change of computer because the Intel factor, I think it's reassuring :)
Thanks !

I'm hoping Apple will come up with another killer Mac... Cube II :D
...or a non-pro MacBook at a non-pro price :)

It'll be nice to see a more affordable laptop with this kind of juice:) . Apple didn't raise the price of the Intel equipped iMacs-it stayed the same as the G5-but the laptop is very pricey...
