Ray,

Somehow I can't get excited about those things starting with i...:D
I noticed you reduced the size of your signature. Is that so you'll have room to add in all your new toys? Have fun!:)

Ray,

The font was really big for the list of your equipment in your signature, but now it's small:confused: . Maybe it's the difference between my home computer and work computer. I'll have to check it out when I get home.

I do use iTunes. But I don't have an iPod, just a cheaper imitation.

It was big, but I changed it several days ago (7 or 10). It's less agresive, especially for those who don't like reading other's computer equipment.

The iPod is a gift of my friends when I had a surgery, in 2004. It helped me to have music, it kept my mind from turning depressive at the sight of my "football" face.. ;)

I thought you'd changed it because Jodi and I were teasing you about your gear!:D

I had two jaw surgeries quite a few years ago. I didn't get exceedingly swollen, but my face was all shades of purples, blues, greens & yellows. I looked like I was a battered wife; my husband was afraid to walk around with me at the mall for fear he'd get dirty looks.

Diana, re;batard wife...that is so funny...last summer we were clearning our land....lots of intensive manual labor. Indeed I was bruised in many places. It was a hot summer last year so definietly had to wear shorts and tanks everywhere. At the grocery store I was getting looks by a few people...my legs and arms were quite bruised. So I said out loud ' What's the matter ? Haven't ya ever seen a battered wife before ? ' My husband was at a loss for words and the look on his face was priceless. I just started laughing out loud and he joined in...the onlookers did too. I never did tell them otherwise.

Ray, iglad you are ihappy :)

Diana,

I'm one of those lucky person who go from normal to a pale shade of yellow and back to white again very quickly. So I had little discoloration. I was able to go out all right, but I always looked like I had a mouth full of mashed potatoes :)

Jodi,
I'll bet the looks on the faces were priceless. :D My daughter had surgery at 6 months to remove a cyst at the corner of her eye and it left her face black and blue. We went to a parade 2 days later and a guy actually came up asked her if mommy or daddy hit her. I thought my husband was going to hit him. Obviously she couldn't answer and it was very embarrasing.

Nancy, that's bad. Perhaps he thought he was being funny....or he was one of those types that likes to get reactions out of people...or he worked for child welfare and thought he take a shot at working in public. I know myself too well...not sure how i would have reacted but I know i would not have been silent.

Jodi,
My fear was exactly that - he was some sort of welfare worker - and if I yelled and screamed like a crazy woman he would whip out a badge and snatch her away. My husbands words in a muffled but explicit way sent the man on his way.:p

Not unless a miracle happens...:( , when I checked my order status it now says it will be shipping on the 24th of January. I'm thinking that the demand must have been pretty significant-plus the extra day or two to upgrade the memory. the hub came yesterday...whoopee...
The guy at the Apple Store told me that they just got their second shipment that day and that they were starting to call people on their list...looks like these 'puters are selling like hotcakes...and so I wait...not so bad really, I do have a lot of cleaning and reorganizing of my laptop to do, backups, etc. I can keep busy to make the time go faster!
