Waiting patiently for mine to arrive on Monday - was just wondering of anyone else has the Konica/Minolta Maxxum 5D - or even the 7D.

My luck - 2 days late and 550 bucks short - the good deal was too good to be true - the 5D w/ lens kit.

Don't be completely disappointed. You still have a good camera and lenses will continue to be manufactured. Odds are good that replacement parts will be around for a few years. You'll get a lot of use out of the camera you bought.
