premiere elements 7 update?

I just started up my copy today and it adobe updater installed a new update for Elements 7, the first I've ever seen!?

Anyone know what this is?

I got one of those for Photoshop Elements 7 as well as Premiere Elements 7 and am still trying to figure that out. I think it was described as a "patch" which Adobe seldom if ever does and was called Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements 7.0.3 Update.

I suspected that it was some sort of security patch, but this needs more homework.

There seems to be more speculation than documentation going around on this Premiere Elements 7.0.3 Update (also called a patch).

Another forum suggested that it was probably related to updates for photoshop.com, maybe some securities issues.

I will keep watching to see if any real documentation shows up at Adobe.

It does sound strange that we should accept an online "patch" at this late date for Premiere Elements 7 without any Adobe explanation to go with it.

As they say about audio sometimes, a little out of sync.
