Many of you posted you would like me to put some photos in a gallery. Well today is a wet wet day in Vancouver and I decided it was a good time to figure this out and post a few photos. The thing is - for me to get to my photos I have to go into "my pictures"/ Adobe/digital camera photos/ then I have to look in each folder. (I am wondering if there is an easier way). Anyway when I find the photo I don't know how I find out if it is in JPEG format or the size of the photo - so it will not be too big for the gallery. I told you I was just a beginner. When I browse can I get to my organizer and do it that way - but then how do I make the photo smaller? It looked so easy and now I am so confused - again. Thanks for any help.

An easy way to do it is to make a new folder in My Pictures called, for example PET Gallery. Then select the pictures you want in Organizer, open them in Editor (or Quick Fix). For each one in turn do a Save for Web, set the maximum size to 700 pixels and JPEG quality high, click on OK and browse to the PET Gallery folder you just created and save with an appropriate file name.
When you've done all your pictures you then just have to go to the Gallery and upload from your PET Gallery folder.
Give it a try - look forward to seeing your pics :)

Hi Shari ...
Don't panic :) ... we will all help you :)
Best way to save your images for your Gallery is Save for Web ...
Resize using Save for Web:
Open your image then do File>Save for Web
When the Save for Web dialogue box come up there is a section over on the bottom right hand side where you can change the pixels size (see A) if you tick Constrain Proportions then you only need to change the longest side (maximum 700 pixels for your Gallery). Next take a look at the new size (B) ... if it is still too big then use the quality slider (C) until the size is OK (under 300 kb for your Gallery)
