Is there a fix for the windows media center receiver error after installing Premier 8?

There was not one when the whole issue was originally brought up by cpp10
at the Premiere Elements User to User Forum at Adobe. But thanks to a lot of determined and hard working Premiere Elements 8 users, the problem was confirmed and resolved.

This is caused by the presence of ‘ad2m2ve.ax’ in the application root folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0\ ad2m2ve.ax

If you rename this file the problem disappears. (for eg. Rename ad2m2ve.ax to ad2m2ve.ax.old)
