Someone suggested that I purchase this for doing monitor calibration. It is reasonably priced compared to the other programs I have seen out there. Anybody using it? If so, what do you think?

I got the Colorplus for Christmas so I don't know what was paid for it, but, they usually sell for around $80. It's the least expensive of the bunch for sure. However, if you look on Amazon at Colorvision's other products sometimes that will price the Spyder 2, etc for around $90. Usually they run $150 plus.

Mine seems to be fine. I worked on some photos for my book over the weekend and ordered them today, so I'll see how it works when I receive the photos :)

I received my photos today that were prepared after calibrating with colorplus. They look EXACTLY as they do on my screen, sooooo it must've worked :)

You mentioned your book - are you planning one that we could know about? I just viewed your gallery - amazing photos in there. Were the portraits studio lighting or great PSE work?:)

Hi Mary,

I should clarify what I mean by "my book". When I say book, I mean portfolio of images (prints). It's what I show to people offline who want to see my work...usually models that I work with...etc...

95% of my shots are done outside (mostly on the beach:) ). I don't even know how to turn on studio lights...or a flash...I only use sunlight and shoot wide open and let my lens suck in all the light...works quite well for shooting people outside.

Thanks Allen - your work is even more amazing now that I know how you accomplish it. I will look forward to seeing your additional gallery works.:) :)
