Printing .psd from Organizer vs. Editor

I am using PSE-4

I have a picture I created .psd extention (it has a few layers in it)

When I print it from the organizer, the colors are different than when I print the same picture from the editor.

The editor is better.

Why?

The color settings might be differently set up in Editor as opposed to Organizer. Look under the Edit menu>color settings. Organizer really isn't color managed as far as print goes as it doesn't allow for the same extensive options for printing through a color managed workflow as the Editor does. Imo, you could just save yourself some grief and just print from Editor.

You are right, I get the best results printing from Edit. Debra, it's easy. open your file in Edit and do Ctrl > P. You will get a window that gives you more options for printing. Check it out and let us know how it goes. :)
