Ready for round 12? Good!
By very popular request the theme for this week is a movie poster. Here’s the chance to make yourself the star if you want. Whatever you decide, base your poster on one of your photos and go from there. I look forward to seeing everyone in lights. Entries should be posted by the end of day on Saturday, January 14.

Once again, to make this thread more manageable to view, please post only your entries in this thread. Post your comments in the accompanying ‘comment’ thread.
Enjoy your week … be creative and have fun!

Well the first assignment I decide to do and I didn't go back and read it before completing the assignment. Therefore my work is NOT a movie poster but a poster add. Too bad. It's done and I don't have time to do another. It's my son's birthday today so I did it for him and printed it.
I like the way it turned out. This is one of his gifts and make with help from Mr. Kelby. :D

Well - here's my chance to finally use the "birddog" mask I made for halloween but was too late to submit. Auggie my dog and Bubba, my late cat, get to star in this wierd wacky out-of-this-world movie!:D

Here's mine. Keep in mind the photo is 30 years old and we all used to look like that!

In keeping with the spirit of a photography challenge, I photographed the license rather than scanning it.

Worst photo I've taken in a long while as you can tell by the eyes but it served its purpose as all I could come up with for a poster - not my forte for sure!

Here's my poster. Some background info:
I have a copy of Premier 1.5. The full-blown version. I even have a book telling me how to use it--one of these days, I'll get to it. Anway, last summer, my daughter Elizabeth decided she wanted to make a movie. The following conversation ensued:
Me: OK, cool! What do you want it to be about? (thinking she would say something like princesses, or American Girl dolls).
Her: Trees.
Me: What?
Her: Trees. I want to tell people about the trees in our yard.
Me: Oh--uh--OK! Let's do it!
So, we researched five different trees that are in our yard, wrote a script, went outside, and taped footage of her standing in front of various trees telling about them. We haven't got to the editing part yet, but it's on the to do list!
And, of course, every movie needs a poster, right? Hence, here it is--the offical poster for my daughter's documentary. March of the Penguins & Morgan Freeman, eat your heart out. :)
