Please Help!

:confused: Newbie user here! I received PSE4 for a Christmas gift and can't seem to figure out why when I view my photos with PSE4 they are so much darker than when I view the same photos in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or Corel Photo Paint? Right off the bat with PSE4 it would seem that I have to edit my colour saturation, but it's fine when I view in Windows or my Corel Photo paint... Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Hi Melissa,

What colour management settings are you using in Edit > Colour Settings..?

Have you calibrated your monitor..?

First, try to run Adobe Gamma. Photoshop is a colour managed application and it requires a calibrated monitor. This tool is located in your control panel.

I've now calibrated my monitor and it's working MUCH better! Thanks for the tips Mike and Ray! :D
