I have seen several posts referring to Grants Tools and and wondering if someone can point me to where I can download them. They sound like they could help me do some interesting things.

Very slight adjustment to what Wendy said. The tools also work with PSE1, PSE2, and PSE3 on both Mac and Windows platforms. I am not sure what and what doesn't work on PSE4 as I only tested them on the betas.

Can the tools be adjusted to work in PSE4? It looks like these would be a valuable addition to the pallettte.

Jon: Download the zip file that was in that post. That's the complete PSE5 set. The file on Grant's site never got updated.

there's a secret Merry Christmas present at my place:
Handy Actions Lite (http://www.graficalicus.com/graffishop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=63) is free until Christmas with the coupon code GrafMC07 - just input it during checkout (note that the code will work only if Handy Actions Lite is in your cart) - Also be sure that you choose the corrct version (there's a version for PSE 5 and a versions for PSE 6 - both self-install)
All the details on HA Lite is in the link above -

Graffi: Thanks. That's a very generous offer and makes it real easy for anyone to add some key extras. Of course I already have it and they work just fine and are much easier to install - especially in PSE6 :)

Thanks!
There's one more thing that we had talked about earlier - Transform Selection.
Never knew it was that popular, so here ya go (http://www.graficalicus.com/wp/archives/381)- - :)

Tony,
Did you hear me yelling, "Yippee"? I clicked on your link & followed your instructions & I installed the ever elusive (for me) Grant's Tools. I feel like I've conquered the world!! Anyway, thanks!

It was just too good to be true - I thought I had Grant's Tools, but I don't. I clicked on Thumb in the directory list of Grant's Tools & that placed Grant's Tools as Layers in my Layer Palette. What in the heck did I do wrong in installing them? Can anybody tell me or do you want to get mixed up with me? I swear I'm hexed when it comes to Grant's Tools. Thanks anyway.

Lois - it sounds like you installed the PSE5 version and that doesn't work in PSE6 without a bunch of modification. Stick to Graffi's Action Lite. That gives you all you need.

Hi Tony,
I think you're right - I will stick with Handy Actions Lite. I did change the Photoshop Elements to 6.0 in the directory for Grant's Tools, but perhaps that didn't help. I also changed all of the .atn files to .png & the Thumbs to psd. I probably didn't do it right. Anyway, I will just try to forget about old Grant's Tools & be happy with what I've got. Have a Merry Christmas, Tony!

Lois: And a Merry Christmas to you too - If you have Graffi's you're really not missing anything by not having Grant's. They are essentially the same thing. A layer mask is a layer mask whether from Grant or Graffi or anyone else :D
