After seeing shnupita's wonderful baby pic I got to thinking about my favorite baby pic of my daughter when she was around 10 months old. Taken with my old Canon AE-1 film camera...in my pre-computer slash digital days...which really wasn't that long ago. I know her left eye could have been alot sharper but oh welll...I still love this pic. I used black and white Fuji film and Walmart gave me back prints that were almost sepia toned...but at the time I thought it really didn't look too bad. Anyways, my baby Mackenzie, 1999;

If you would like to post your precious baby moments here then by all means ...this is a good place to do it !!

Jodi,
what a gorgeous photo. I think your daughter may have a future in modeling, her eyes draw you right in. I noticed the same quality of her eyes in your gallery photos. Lovely!

Thank you all so much ! She was indeed beautiful enough to be one of those magazine babies...of course all mother's think that about their babies I'm sure ;)
KT, she does love to have her pic taken....as you can tell by the gallery shots altho she is super shy in public. Then again, she's only 7 and I was shy back then too. Anyways, it's fun.
Carol, yup, blow the dust off the scanner and get to it...I can't wait to see more baby pics !! :)
Speaking of that...got to find a baby pic of my monkey boy...who's going to be 5 in March !! OMG ! Time passes so fast ! Anyways, I recall a few more B&W's I took of him as well...ya, I guess I had a thing for b&W when I used film...because it was fun to experiment with.....wasted alot $$$ on developing tho....thank goodness for this wonderful new age of digital !!

Carol, well, I got a really late start in Motherhood so there are plenty of woman my age that have 20 year olds. I'm glad I waited....well, I didn't 'wait'....my kids waited. Took me the first 11 years of marriage to have my daughter due to stupid medical issues and my second came two years after that...he was a major surprise since Good 'OL Doc told me that my first was a "miracle child" ...ya, she was a miracle alright. Anyways, i'm glad my body 'waited' to do this...no way I would have wanted to go through this in my twenties....it's a tough job being a mom.....and an even tougher one being a 'good' mom. :)

Your beautiful photo had me looking through months of my daughter's baby pics and thinking of all the things I could/should do now that I have PSE. It's hard to choose a photo from among them (should I pick the one with her in an unintended Mohawk that she SWEARS is not her?!) anyway, here's my picture, at least until I find yet another that I like even more. THis was her first Easter dress, given to her as a gift (one of those frilly things she only wore once but that everyone oohed and aahed over...) I left the baby drool in.

Too cute!!
Jodi, I waited too-31 when I had my first...wasn't mature enough in my 20's (not so sure I've matured yet, but the bio clock was ticking...)!
Ya know, I'm just finishing an 8X8 wedding album and I have had such a good time doing it...I think I'll do one for each of the kids pics. Kid, you're an inspiration!
Sincerely,

Carol, without inspiration I don't think any of us would make it very far at all. :) Now I must go check my daughter's homework and be a mom for a while :p Talk later :)

Kay, I'll tell ya when it happened...my # 2....no sooner had I become comfortable ( and terribly happy ) with the idea of only having one child that I got pregnant again. Honest. When the Doc had first told me that my daughter was the miracle baby and that I probably would not be able to conceive again I was really sad at the thought of not being able to have more children. But somehow i got past it and started feeling really good about everyhting and how things were going in my life with stuff. The thought of more children was the furthest thing from my mind. I think it has something to do with that nerve calming boomarang effect. It got me ! He is my special little boy. I do believe he is in my gallery...that 'pose'...was all him. BTW, I now take precautions and I truly believe that Doctors really don't have a clue about much at all. :)

My first "happened" just weeks before my scheduled doctor's appointment for a fertility check-up, so maybe I should make another appointment!:)

Jodi,
Here is my oldest daughter 24 years ago. This is from my film days and is a scan so it isn't very sharp but still love looking at it. She is now the bride in my gallery. Wow how time flies!

:) Nancy, that is one heck of a baby photo ! What a sweetheart ! I think the scan was pretty goood ! I like the vignette effect and it works well with the image. Love that drool ;)

All these baby pictures are sooo adorable. I don't have any babies of my own to share. I stepped into a ready-made family when I married at 19 and found later I wasn't able to have any of my own. My oldest "step" daughter was 9 and the other two girls 5 and 4. Our latest great-granddaughter's photos in my gallery is our oldest daughter's first grandchild. We have 7 grandchildren and 6 "greats" altogether. Unfortunately, none of them live very close anymore (but gives us an excuse to travel!).
