Hair cut!

Well, not exactly, but I need help pleeease.

I've had PE4 for about 2 months now and am trying to "do up" a portrait of my wife.

BUT I'm banging my head against the wall trying to remove her from the background. Shoulders and all that's OK but how do you trace around the hair and make it look realistic?

I'm sure this is one of those things that, once things have clicked into place you can't remember why on earth you pulled your own hair out becuase it's soooo easy, but I'm way away from that at the moment.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sam ...

Hair just has to be one of the most difficult things to select ... I tend to use a combination of tools. I try the magic wand but most of the time I just zoom in close and use the lasso ... just wish that there was a really easy way to do it but I'm afraid that there isn't :(
