I am trying to create a Favicon for my website www.Your-Adrenaline-Fix.com

I downloaded the Plugin from "Some website" (I dont like doing this for fear of viruses) but I have it now (The Plugin) and the Readme says:

To install

Move the plugin into the "File Formats" folder inside your Photoshop Plugins folder:

On Windows, ICOFormat.8bi

Can someone please tell me where I can find this folder and maybe even give me some better instructions?

TIA, Stuart

What version of Elements, and Windows are you running?

In Vista 64 with Elements 6.0...

Try looking for C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 6.0\Plug-ins\File Formats

I'm sorry, I forgot to add the Details, I tend to forget that not everyone knows what I'm thinking or where I'm going when they're driving the car and I don't tell them when to turn. LOL

I am using PSE8 with Windows XP Home edition. If someone could please tell me how to find the Plugins folder I'd be very grateful. I tried searching for photoshop then I went through seemingly all the folders in search results but didn't see a folder "plugins" It is possible I overlooked it but I'm hoping someone can help direct me there.

TIA, Stuart

Stuart, my guess is it is not much different than my earlier post...

try looking for the following using Windows File Explorer...

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 8.0\Plug-Ins\Filters
