Hello, with my new 16.4" Laptop and 1920 x 1080 resolution I have problems in properly reading the text in PSE 7 editor menues and toolbars - they are so tiny.

Increasing Winddows font size in the Control Panel only works with "Windows-related" programmes (e. g. Windows Explorer) but it does not affect the text size in the PSE menues. Decreasing the resolution is not a solution, as it makes the whole display blurred...

Is there a solution at all? I'm using Windows 7, if that's relevant...

Many thanks - W.

Hi ...

... and welcome to the Village :)

Hopefully one of the Windows 7 users will be able to answer this but I suspect that there isn;t a way of doing it.

Willi,
I this might help
http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#The_Organizers_Menu_Bar_doesnt_show

Basically you check the 'use system font' button under preferences, that should make the fonts bigger. As John explains, maybe too big but at least usable.
Hope this helps

Hello, yes, thanks for this, I've seen it; this works for the Organizer, but unfortunately, I cannot find a similar option for the Editor...?

There is no known good solution for the Editor. Changing the Windows DPI or Windows font will increase the size of items on the drop-down menus, but the most of the rest of the text stays small.
