When you go a site to have prints made and it directs you to 'browse' to find what you want to upload from your Documents I cant seem to always find the images I'm looking for. I have everything tagged etc in my Organizer and can view the thumbnail in there but can't seem to find the image while searching.
Do you have to 'export' to do this ? and what happens when you do 'export' and where does it end up ?? I know the images are there, but where is the question and how do I access them to be able to send files for prints.

File->Export->As New Files is definitely the way to go, and the perfect solution for this problem. Create a temporary folder, then Export your selected photos to this folder, and then upload. When done, you can delete the temporary folder.

When exporting or file > export, does this degrade the photo at all? I also wonder about dragging and dropping the folders into a temporary folder, are you grabbing the thumbnail or the actual picture?

There are several options in File->Export. If you don't choose the ones that change the image size (in other words, you leave the image size unchanged), and you choose .jpg export from a .jpg photo, then File->Export makes an exact copy of your photo, with no degrading of the photo.

DJ,
Thanks for your reply and I figured out what you said and that makes it so much simpler. Thanks again !

I would like to make a remark here.

When you do the export, I would not export them to my C drive (if using Windows), because in that case - it was mentioned that afterwards you delete the temporary folder and its contents - you create a nice big fat hole on the file system. In other words you create fragmentation. And the more pictures get exported/copied and/or the bigger they are, the bigger the fragmentation will be. If by any chance you have some free space on another partition, I would go that route.
