Effects, Bevels?

Help! It's been a long time since I've used this, and there must be an adjustment somewhere for how wide ect to make the bevels, but I can't remember where, nor find it hunting around or going to help. (ha!)
Please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Hi Peter, when you apply a bevel, there will be a little blue fx in the layers palette next to your shape. If you click on it, there is a slider bar to adjust the thickness of the bevel. Hope this helps!

When you apply your bevels etc, you should see a little icon on the layer in the layers palette - in PSE6 it is a blue fx. Double click on it and a dialogue box pops up that lets you change the size, direction etc of the bevel. (This works for all layer styles)

Ah.. yes.. NOW I remember ;-)
but alas the 'Simple Outer' and the 'Simple Sharp Outer' effect's are not effecting.. next clue please... from the clueless...
