Is anyone besides me having trouble reading the opacity and color boxes in the layers panel or brush size and opacity in the menu bar? Whether I pick the light or dark setting, I prefer the light, the boxes are dark gray with black writing. I can't read them unless I am on top of the screen. It was not like that in earlier versions, either the light or the dark. Is there a fix?

Sadly there isn't ... :(

I find the light interface virtually unusable and the dark one isn't too great either.

I suggest that we bombard Adobe with complaints about this. Ignoring the fact that one powerful reason for using a Mac is that a single unified interface makes it easier to learn new software - Adobe's 'we know better' attitude proves that they don't know better. Adobe is going from bad to worse to nearly unusable. If I had to pay for this problem I'd have passed - I consider the UI that bad.

Dark grey with tiny black triangles... they dare to call such thing a user interface? Besides that usable or not? I better not speak out loud what I call this, however I can fully understand the OP having problems with it.
Now don't get me wrong: honesty tells me to also admit I never tried the lighter interface.Right, I don't need so because I want and prefer the darker interface.
