Made up a sldeshow with sound
Tried to burn to DVD disc - PSE3 rejected as wrong media

Brian,

Are you sure the disc you are trying to burn is not damaged? You might try using a different program to copy something to it to check.

Also, is the disc comaptible with your DVD burner?

Sorry, that's about all I can offer.

PSE3 doesn't burn DVD, you need a different application for that. If it's a DVD Video you want, something to play on TV, then look for DVD authoring software. If you only want to move the file to a disc for playing on another computer, then you may use Windows' own burning facilities.

Sorry I forgot that PSE3 won't burn to DVD. Since you are going to be looking for a new program though, look at Pro Show Gold by Photodex. I spent a week downloading free trials and going through them. Pro Show Gold beats everything else by a long shot. I have already made 3 DVDs with it and the quality is great.
