Did it save completely on your hard drive? I'd try to view again, from the web, just to make sure it loads completely.

I think Ray's right - I had the same problem because I didn't notice it wasn't completely loaded before I started watching. No problems after doing it right! :)

It was slow to download but I gave it plenty of time and the video runs fine for me.

Hi ...
I have had problems with this one ... it seems to take forever to load.
I don't know if it is caused by the site or the video itself ... but I still haven't been able to watch it all :(

Glad it's not me! I tried twice-wasn't as patient as Will! This is a haunted video!

After much patience, stopping and restarting the video, I was able to save to disk, and on replay it worked continuously, straight thru.
Thanks for your suggestions

Carol -- it wasn't so much patience as I did other things and made a cup of coffee and fiddled about and then got back to the video after a while. I've never been able to watch them from straight download -- always crashes the browser. So I always download them, save them to hard drive, then pull 'em up later to watch them. Of course, I'm using QT Pro so I can do it that way.

Will, how do you go about downloading the video? I can click on it and start it, but I don't see a way to save it first then view it.
Thanks for your help!

It is something that becomes an option when you upgrade to the Pro version. It has a little triangle at the lower right corner and when you click on it there is a menu with Save Video as QuickTime Movie -- it isn't on the player only version.

Chuck,
You can retrieve the video from your browser's cache. There are various ways for various browsers. Let us know which browser, we'll give you the incantation :)

I noticed when I saved this video it was much larger than all the other ones. It was 35,000 kb. The largest file I have on video is 24,000 and most are a lot smaller.

Lee,
in FireFox, you need to locate the cache. I'm on Mac, so the cache is there:
Ray / Library / Caches / Firefox / Profiles /
then after profile, there's a randomly named folder in which you'll find the files. If you sort them by date, the newest at the top of the list, the lastest video seen will always be on top of the list.
Substitute Ray for your own username.
