Trucated photos

Hope someone can give me some clues on this problem. I did read a thread on this topic at
http//forums.adobe.com/thread/362399
but that did not work for me.

I uploaded my photos into the Elements Organizer, tagged them, viewed them as a slideshow without problem. Then I chose individual photos to edit and got an error message pertaining to the photo being truncated.

All photos are in jpg and were copied from a brand new 4 gb flash card onto CD and then uploaded to my computer. I've been using this system of shooting and saving my photos for 4-5 years now and this is the first time this has occurred.
I'm using PE7 on Windows.

Any advise? Thanks.

I'd try loading the photo in directly from the CD. If it loads successfully Organizer's the problem. If that doesn't work try bringing it up in MS Photo Editor or even Paint. That gets PSE out of the loop.
