F1/Help Files PSE8

hi,just upgraded from pse5 to pse8 - what a jump!
I decided to download/install PSE8 onto my external hard drive.
All is working well apart from being unable to access the F1/Help option,when I click on it ,it doesnt do anything.
Tried the Elements Organizer Online and that just comes back with 'error launching browser,try properly configuring browser etc'.
So two problems I guess
1 - guessing here,is F1/Help unavailable because the html files are on external drive and not my c drive?
2 - how do I configure IE7 to access the online organiser?

Hi Nigel

I don't know how to configure IE8 to achieve what you need but I'd just like to say that I downloaded the PDF help file from Adobe as I find it much quicker and easier to use.
