I currently have PSE3, PSE4 and PSE6 on my iMac. Each time I have purchased a new version I have just installed it and left the others in place. I only use PSE6. Does anyone know the best way to remove the old versions? Can I just drag the icons into the trash?
Thanks for your help.

For the versions prior to 6, you can just drag to the trash, no problem, but for 6 you need to use the installer if you ever decide to remove it.

Wendy (once again) (What would we do without Wendy?)
When installing the new PSE 8 on a Mac, do we need to remove the older 6?

Hi Berengaria ...
No you don't need to unistall PSE6 ... both can be installed at the same time :)

Since I will not be using PSE 6 anymore, I would like to uninstall it unless PSE 8 uses some things from 6. Do you happen to know? Does Adobe advise leaving 6 on?

Hi Berengaria ..
You can remove it if you like ... you don't need to keep it in order to use PSE8.
However I would leave it installed until you have PSE8 up and running and then uninstall PSE6 :)
