Hi Auny,

Welcome to the forum and glad you have joined us.

I know someone has an answer to your problem or a direction to help resolve your problem.
Using a Mac or PC - what computer system are you using - this may help?
Using elements 6 or Photoshop, and when did you first find the problem - what led up to finding the problem - were you on the computer using a specific area or source when you found the problem? Can you remember what you were doing just prior to finding the problem? Your answers may help one or more of our fellow forum users resolve your problem. Please add any other info you think necessary so we can help you. We have a lot of very smart people here on the forum with excellent knowledge.

Your TEXT layer needs to be moved up in the stack. When you use the "Text" tool, that information is placed on its own layer. If the layer for some reason is below the photo, it will not show up. Click the text layer, hold down the mouse button and move the layer above the photo.

Hi bmaher,

Could you be a bit more specific by explaining your answer.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you mean by text 'field' It is the type layer in the layers pallet (on the right side of the screen) that must be placed on the top of the stack of layers, or at least above the photo layer, in order for the type to be visible. It sounds like your type layer is below the photo layer.
