PE 7 No burn to disc

Hi,
I am new to PE7 and find I have a problem trying to burn to disc.
I have reinstalled software twice, have tried to burn one minute
and ten minutes of std. Video. Short and long sideshows. Rendering
doesnt seem to be a problem but as soon as I press the burn button,
nothing!
I also use CorelVideoStudio Pro X2 and dont have a problem at all.
My system is Vista, ProcessorIntel(R) core (TM) 2 quad CPU,
Q6600 @ 2.40GHZ. 3.00 GB Ram, 32 bit system. 106GB available
hard drive memory.
Got any ideas to put this right?

Please detail that source (camcorder/brand&model) and format of your "standard video".

What happens if you burn to folder (4.7 GB Folder) in Premiere Elements?

If you have been burning to disc (DVD 4.7 GB/120 min).....
You say that you hit the Burn Button in the Burn dialog and "nothing".
a. Is your burner named in that dialog?
b. With your DVD disc in the drive, are there values for Space Required and Bitrate in the Burn dialog?
c. Where is says Status, does it say Ready or something else?

How much of your 3 GB RAM is available?
