how to install actions in PSE 6

i went to a photography workshop and the instructor gave us some free actions on a disk and now that i am home i don't know how to apply them in PSE 6

Did the instructor mention if they would work in Photoshop Elements? Many actions written for Photoshop won't work in Elements... if the action uses commands not available in Elements.

Actions are installed differently in each version of Elements, as well as different computer's operating system. Here are some good instructions from Hummie... just make sure you follow the ones for PSE6 and your operating system. If they don't work in Elements after installation, most likely they are for Photoshop only.
