Hi-I have run into an issue tonight with a photo of our house that is in iPhoto and I want to use it in a layout that I am working on in PSE6 on my Mac. The photo looks just fine in iPhoto but when I open it up in PSE6, the bricks and roof shingles are distorted! I have tried exporting the photo in different formats and it doesn't make any difference-tried png, tif and jpeg. I have included an attachment so that you can see what I mean..... I have not run across this issue before and I am perplexed! I am running Leopard as my operating system. Thanks for any help, Judy

Judy, about a week ago someone posted a photo where the bottom of the photo was missing a color.
Are all the photos this way, or is it just this one?
One possibility could be on how you clear your camera memory card.
Can you open this in RAW, and see if it shows the same?
I can't guide you as how to open in RAW since I don't use it.
I seem to think that you open as, and that will give you the option to open in RAW.
post back with your progress.
Check this link which may help you with RAW.

Macs don't do Open As. You go to File>Open and select your photo, then choose Camera Raw from the format menu before clicking Open.
mrstucci, have you tried looking at the photos at 50 or 100% view in elements to be sure it's not just some kind of viewing anomaly?

You know Barbara, I think you are right. Oh, how simple and boy do I feel simple!! I was viewing it at 40% but even at 50% it isn't distorted. Thank you so much!! Judy
