Video out of sync in timeline

Hey,
I got one video clip with funny things happening. I now try to sync different sound effects to these funny things.
When I play the project from the beginning they all sync fine.
But as soon as I tries to view the project starting a couple of seconds in, nothing syncs anymore. It seems like the video plays way to slow when not started from the absolute beginning.

What to do?
(The project is in 25fps and the videoclip is also recorded in 25fps)

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and what is the source, format, and duration of the clips involved...video and audio?

For now, I will assume that you are using Premiere Elements 7....

In addition:

After you placed your audio, have you:

a. In the Edit Mode (Orange Tab activated), have you Rendered the Timeline by pressing the Enter Key of the computer main keyboard and then played your project there in the Edit Mode Monitor?

b. Have you attempted to group the audio and video (See Clip Menu).
