Yesterday, I attempted an OOB with a photo that I have, but ran into a problem that I don't know how to counter. First, allow me to say that I have used this very same technique, a few times in the past, with great success.
What now happens is this: I go through the process and, after applying both actions, find that there is a black outline (just proud of 1/8" thick) around the OOB areas. Though it's been a while since I've done an OOB, I don't remember ever having such a thing happen before. There is also notice given that the OOB areas could be cleaned up with the brush, but I don't seem to have any success with the masking technique.
Any help, here, would be hugely appreciated.
