PSE 7 Broken pic icon in Organizer

Hi all,
I totally forgot I was a member of this forum and now realize how much I've missed!!! Now I have a problem. I've been using PSE 7 for quite some time now, with no issues, though I'm not very familiar with post editing, but that's a different story.

The other day, I uploaded pictures to PSE7, from my card reader, the same way I've always done. When this finishes, all of the pictures I just uploaded, USUALLY show up in the Organizer. At this point, I can double click on a picture, and it shows up as a larger image, by itself...double click and it returns me to the Organizer. Well, all of the pictures I've uploaded, for the pasts several days, now show up, in the Organizer, as broken links. I get the broken image icon. However, when I double click on it, the image shows up just fine...double click again, and it shows me the Organizer, with all the broken image icons. If I right click on the broken image icon, it shows me the correct properties and such...correct location...

If I click Show All, the Organizer shows me every picture I've ever uploaded. However, the pics loaded in the past few days, show up as broken image icons. I scroll down to a period prior to that and the pictures show up just fine.

Any suggestions??

WooHoo!!! John, you're good!!! Thank you very much. The Catalog Repair option did it. It found errors, asked me if I wanted to empty the Cashe, I clicked Yes and it was fixed!! Now I'm Optimizing.
