Is it just me or is there a bug in PSE6 for Mac... I have enabled the Tab key in System Pref> for All Applications... when I am trying to adjust the drop shadow settings the tab key doesn't move between the different fields like it did in the Windows version. It is a real pain to have to click with your mouse in each of those fields.

Also, I have noticed that the manually set up shortcut keys do not work either (the Mac shortcuts do, COMMAND+A etc). So in System Prefs>Keyboard & Mouse option you can 'Add' shortcut keys so I have added Ctrl+A, Crtl+C etc for All Applications... because I find that the COMMAND key is in a strange spot on the keyboard (just me I am sure but it doesn't flow as easy as the Window shortcut keys). Is there a reason why these manual shortcuts don't work in PSE? Just wondering if there is a setting that I am missing somewhere is all.

Thanks much for the help and guidance.

Hi ...

Elements has its own shortcuts and they do tend to overide the computer ones when you are using it ... I'm not aware of a way to change the Elements shortcuts.

As far as where the Command Key is on the Mac ... its just one of those things that you get used to.

With Photoshop its possible to customise things like your shortcuts but I don't think that there is a way to do it in Elements :)

If you buy a programmable tablet, you can program the various keys with the mac commands you use most often for single button control.

If you want, you can remap your Mac keyboard ---here's how (http://www.tuaw.com/2008/09/11/mac-101-using-your-windows-keyboard/):)
