I have a CD with audio files ending in ".cda". I am unable to get the files onto Premier Elements 7's soundtrack. How do I do that? I get an error message in Premier, "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed."

Take a look at the following link that explains what the .cda file is all about:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/how_to_work_with_audio_cd_cda_files.htm

It does not sound like your are ripping the audio from the CD as .wma or .mp3, using Windows Media Player or iTunes. I am giving you these comments assuming that you are working with non protected material.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
