loading styles in PSE 5??

Hope you guys can help me?
I know where to put the styles, but I have just loaded about 6GB worth of new styles, and when it tries to set up the artwork on restarting the programme again in falls dwn and says that the scratch desk/disk?? is full.

my question is this, how much space is there available in there for me to fill cos I keep deleeting/moving files I don't need but it's still not succeeding.

Hi Penni... and welcome to Elements Village.

6GB of add-ons of any kind seems like an awful lot... no wonder it's bogging down. I'm currently using PSE7, but I still have PSE5 on my computer and use it occasionally for styles that won't work with 7. In the past I have added what I feel were a lot of styles to PSE5 and I just went and looked at my styles folder and it has a total of 240MB of styles altogether. Are you sure you're going to need all those?

Most style sets are pretty small ... so how many set are your trying to add ??

What sort of computer are you using ?? ... Is is Windows or Mac and what Operating System. Also do you know what size your hard disk is and how much memory you have in it ??
