I have seen this line effect in several photos. Can anyone tell me how to do it in PSE 7? Thanks.

Here is my best guess. I think they started with a blank file filled with white that was a little larger than the portrait. They then used the move tool to add the picture of the girl on top. They duplicated the girl image. Then I think they used the filter>brush>crosshatch filter on the duplicate layer. They change the tool to the eraser tool and took a large soft brush and went over the crosshatched picture of the girl and did the same to the edges by bumping them with the soft edge of the brush.

Another thought might be that this was stamped with a brush with that pattern on a couple of different layers going a couple of different directions. (and then erased or masked)
You could probably ask the gallery owner. Let us know!
