Layers Mask Tool for PSE 5.0

Has anyone downloaded this tool for PSE 5 or newer? Does it work and is it safe to use?

Instructions says to delete this file
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\MediaDatabase.db3

and replace it with this one

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Photo Creations\special effects

I do not know computers well enough to do this if it is not safe to proceed. Please advise. Thank you. Carl

Hi ...

Yes that is fine ... :)

However when you delete the file you don't actually replace it with anything ... once you restart Elements the file rebuilds.
