Hi!!!

I just found this old post about a color wheel. Does anyone know of a newer post or another color wheel? The kink in this post doesn't work.

Lisa

I posted a free color wheel to help you create color scheme in Photoshop Elements,
along with 240 + color schemes to get your started at my home page.
With this color wheel you can create your own colored harmony swatches right in Elements.
I also included a pdf file with instructions on how to work the color wheel.

I'm looking for comments on this subject, good or bad, I'm open to all ideals here.

Hi Lisa! I hope this helps. I use Adobe Kuler for devising color schemes. It is free and fun to use. I like to make color schemes based on nature photos. Find it at kuler.com. There is also colourlovers.com and colorexplorer.com. I'm sure there are many more if you do a search on Google for color wheels, color templates or color schemes. Good luck. Let us know how you are doing.

Hi Doris, is the Color Wheel, etc. downloadable or do you just use it on line? If it can be downloaded what are the steps to do it. TIA, Ed Weidman.:confused:

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back here, Ed! If you go here (http://kuler.adobe.com/#) you can upload photos from your computer or Flickr to make your own color swatches. You can also use the thousands created by others. You don't have to register unless you want to save your swatches, but it's free regardless. You can also download a kuler widget that you can use offline. It is free also. It's lots of fun to come up with color schemes based on your own photos. You can't beat nature for coming up with beautiful color combinations! Have fun and ask if you have any more questions.

You can create a color swatch from a photo right inside Elements and save it to the Presets folder... here's a link to some instructions:

Doris, what do you mean by "Kuler Widget" and where do I find that on the Kuler Website?

Hi Ed, the desktop version of kuler for pc involves downloading Adobe AIR, then downloading Kuler Desktop for AIR. Info on that is here. (http://kuler.adobe.com/#links) The widget is really for Mac, and I see you use XP. Have you tried the online version yet?
