I am posting this today as I can't post it tomorrow.
The photographs this week, as always, were absolutely outstanding. Picking just 6 images is so difficult because everyone is so creative and the images are unique. I think we should applaud everyone this week!!
In no particular order the following are my picks for Honorable Mentions:
Sunday on San Diego Waterfront (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14037&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=1) by Sea Dog.
The sketching technique is done perfectly with just the right amount of color. In addition, the collage and background add the perfect finishing touches to the tour of San Diego.
Bare Beauty (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14148&c=newimages&cutoffdate=2) by Vonnie.
The multidimensional effect in this photograph is very captivating. The colors and shapes chosen for this image add to the beautiful eye appeal.
1948 Willy's Jeep (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14088&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=1) by Edmund.
The vibrance of the colors in this photograph are very striking as is the depth of field. The clarity is tack sharp. This WWII Jeep is a wonderful representation of our freedom.
Clear Sailing #2 (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14153&c=newimages&cutoffdate=2) by dBarta.
This OOB photograph is so well done that I feel like I am right on the sailboat. I like the feel of sailing into the water with the gorgeous color of the water and the trees.
Second Wedding (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14057&c=newimages&cutoffdate=1) by Angelschick6.
This outstanding black and white image is filled with tender emotion which is portrayed beautifully. The tones are balanced perfectly.
My choice for IOW is:
Orb Magic (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14189&c=newimages&cutoffdate=1) by Chesney.
I love the vibrant colors and magical feeling of this photograph. The creativity is amazing. The beautiful flower puts the perfect finishing touch on this already beautifully balanced photograph.
