When I access my folders via Bridge when using PSE6, is there a way to make it so that my folders are not just blue folder icons?

For example, I have my digital kits that I've downloaded in a folder labeled "digital kits" on my desktop. Obviously in that folder there are many folders inside that which are all labeled by designer, etc. I'd like to be able to see an icon of a preview of whats in that folder, rather than just a blue folder. I know that if I click on it and open it I can see whats in it, but is there an easier way?

Hi ...

You can change your folder icons into other sorts of icons ... I just downloaded a few from the internet.

I haven't tried making my own but here is a link to a tutorial :)

Hmm. I guess I figured there was an easier way to do it.. like a setting that just needed to be done. I want them to be much like the way iphoto is, how you can scroll over the folder and get a small preview of whats inside of it. But I wanted that for my other files/folders that are not in iphoto.

There is a simple way to change the icons----copy and paste. Here are Apple's instructions. In the past, I have used my photos to create icons for some folders.

1. In the Finder, select a file whose icon you want to use.
2. Choose File > Get Info.
3. Click the icon in the Info window and choose Edit > Copy.
4. Select the file whose icon you want to replace and choose File > Get Info.
5. Select the icon in the Info window and choose Edit > Paste
