I have a new Sigma 10-20mm lens for my Pentax K10D. What is the best way to correct the problems that occur when you use such a wide angle lens.

You can use the 'Correct Camera Distortion' filter.

I have a friend who recently purchased a wide-angle lens and he complains of focus problems at the edge of the picture. I referred him to this web page:

If edge focus is your problem the info found there may help.

Go to this web site PTL Lens. It is a correction program for $25.00 and works real well. http://epaperpress.com/ptlens/ I use it with my sigma 10-20MM

I don't use PT Lens myself though I know it is a widely respected lens correction tool. However, though the PT Lens web page does illustrate correction of a number of types of lens distortion, it does not mention anything about correcting edge focus problems, so if that is the problem the OP is attempting to deal with, it would not appear that PT Lens offers a solution.

What problems are you having, distortion, vignetting, focus or other?
