On the PCEC site, I found out that Chuck S. has a new (first) grandson!!! :D

Thanks, everyone, for the kind wishes! Aiden Charles Flanagan was born at 11:02 pm on July 19th, about five weeks early. Fortunately, his birth weight was 5 pounds, 9 ounces, so he was fairly large for a "preemie". He's spending his first couple weeks in the NICU, letting his lungs develop a little further before he's released to go home with his proud Mom and Dad.

Here's a photo of Mom, Grandmom, and Aiden from a few days ago. Lighting is very subdued in the NICU, so I had to crank up the ISO to 1600 and open the aperture wide on my little 50 mm f/1.8 to get any kind of decent exposure at all. Thanks to Lightroom, I was able to turn it into a "keeper". Hope to get lots more (and better) photos when Aiden comes home!
