I have PSE6 on an iMac and just downloaded the ACR update 5.4. Now what do I need to do?

I followed the readme on adobe and I'm unclear what to do (although I tried) at Step 5.
1. Exit PSE and Bridge.
2. Open download file and double click CameraProfiles. Follow on-screen instructions.
3. Navigate to root of the local disk (not users home folder).
4. Navigate to Library> App Support> Adobe> PlugIns>CS3>file formats.
5. Move existing plugin to a new location. (?)
6. Copy the Camera Raw Plugin, Camera Raw, from the download into the same folder as in Step 4. (?)
7. Launch PSE.

Any suggestions? TIA!

I found this http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4523 which says:

5. Move the existing plug-in to another location (for example, a new folder on your desktop). Ensure you keep this version in case you need to revert back.

Seems as good a place as any! :-)

I guess I'm not sure what that means. I tried what I thought it meant and it didn't work.

Is existing version the new download or the ACR 4.0 before the download?
Do I move the plugin from file formats to the desktop

Yes, when you follow the path, you will find a camera raw already there. Click and drag it out to the desktop. Open the downloaded file and click once on the new camera raw. Press command + C keys to copy. Now go back to where you moved the old file from and use command+v to put the new file there. After you've restarted PSE and processed a raw file(proving it's in the right spot and working) you can trash the old file you dragged to the desktop.
