I was wondering who participated in the Photowalk today. I went to a walk in Dallas, Georgia. There were lots of nice people, and it was a great learning experience for me.

I seriously considered it and had several local options, but alas, I was tasked with being the designated electrician and painter at home today.

Good for you Clara!
I participated in one of the Portland walks today. Everything cooperated ... the weather, participants and event were all great. I'm looking forward to next year's already!

I participated in one at Jones Beach on Long Island, NY. I'm looking forward to next year too. I don't think I got any really super shots, but it was a good exercise to spend an extended period of time searching for shots.

I just came back from one of the walks. I only got a few photographs that I like but met a lot of nice people and had a great time.

Very cool shots Clara and Bill! I dithered about going 45 miles away for one but didn't, it's such a fine idea.

I participated in Seattle. We were a very small group--only 5 including the coordinator. Surprising how artistic some very mundane things turned out to be.

I took part in the photowalk in New Canaan CT. People in the group are putting up some of the pictures they took. It is fascinating to see how people's view of the same thing differed. Plus the types of things people found to be interesting subjects was interesting. It was a great experience and I am already looking forward to next year. Here is one of my photos of the train station-

Just as an aside to those who participated ...
Everyone who registered for a walk yesterday is entitled to one free month access to the training classes at Kelby Training. Here's the announcement (http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/2009/archives/5572) on Scott's blog.
All you need to do is log onto your Photowalk website and you'll receive your code for a free month. Hard to beat a deal like that ... see you in class! ;)

My wife and I both participated in the walk in Durham, NC. We had a pretty good crowd show up. It ended up being a lot of fun and we will most likely do it again next year.

I participated in the one in Ybor City, Florida with Dave Cross. Was interesting to say the least. Here's one from me taken in an antique type store; I liked the broken door.
Glad to hear everyone had a good time!

Which Seattle one did you go to, Shar? I was so wanting to do one with my daughter--our schedule changed a bit, though, and we were gone this past weekend. Next time...
And, y'all who participated, make sure you take advantage of that free month of training that Bill mentioned. That's a great deal!

I participated in the Tampa (afternoon) one too. It was hot.
I will say, it was not what I envisioned the day to be.
