It would be nice to have an unsharp mask adjustment layer. Tho I've played with the workaround for a while now>>duplicate my image, apply the filter, then tweak the copy anyway i want..like lowering opacity or even erasing where i don't need so much sharpness. A tweakable USM adjustment layer would be nice tho.

Wayne,
Scott Kelby has some general settings for this filter in his book Elements for Digital Photographers.

I sort of creat an unsharp mask adj layer by creating a duplicate layer and naming it unsharp mask. I only use it for sharpening. If I decide to change it, hwoever, I have to delete it and start over. Consequently, an adj layer for sharpening would be perfect.
