Exif Data

I have to send an image to someone and they want a JPEG (300 dpi ) large file with the exif data intact. How do I go about retaining that data as I thought that once converted to JPEG one would lose the exif data?

When saving the file use Save As.., not Save for Web. Save As.. will retain the EXIF data. Be sure the photo has EXIF data in the first place.
