There maybe another consequence of the problem with the missing scroll bars when using the Printer Profile in the Print dialog in PSE 7.
Because I have a dual screen setup the scroll bars do appear but they are on the second monitor. This is no problem.
However I wonder if a problem I do have is related. Because I have two screens I keep my palettes on the right hand screen so that the left hand can be devoted to the image.
I notice that sometimes when time I shut the Editor down the tool bar is moved a few pixels to the right; the tool bar being the left most palette on my second (right hand) screen. The reason seems to be that it does not like to be too near the edge of the Editor window if floating??
Another consequence seems to be that, some times, the crop tool will lose its changes i.e. if I set it to 5 x 7 when the Editor opens I cannot change that to 6 x 4 or even 7 x 5! I thought that this was because I have my own version of "Default ELTool Presets.tpl" that allows metric presets but no, it is only when I put the floating Tool bar too near the right hand edge of the main window that I lose control of this tool.
I have not been able to create this situation all the time and it only happens if I open a RAW via ACR not a tif or jpg straight into the Editor. It only happens sometimes and does not happen if I keep the floating Tool bar away from the right edge of the Editor window.
It may not be Elements that is the problem because when I open PSE Organizer the icon appears at the bottom of my left hand screen but the Organizer does not appear. I have to click on the icon several times until I see the flash as it is being minimised; yes minimised from the right hand screen even though not actually showing on the right hand screen. One more click on the icon and Organizer maximises on the right hand screen.
