View Full Version : Can't print from Organizer

I have PSE7 and usually print from the Editor because I need to tweak brightness and so on. But I've just tried to print from the Organizer but that part of the program just shuts down. Goes right back to the desktop. Does anyone else know of this problem and, better still, a solution?
Thanks in advance.

I had exactly the same problem and couldn't figure it out, either. Also couldn't find anything in the Adobe website that suggests a cure. But I just figured out that you have to put the files you want to print into the organizer -- it's not enough to just have them open in the editor, even though the program says you can print open files. I imported the files I wanted to print into the organizer and printed them in the normal way. The program is misleading.

Linda,
I'm not quite following the procedure you're outlining. Can you give it to me in a step-by-step fashion? What I really want to get at is the Picture Package feature so I can print 3 4x6s one one 8.5 x 11 sheet.

Jack --
Here are the steps I used.
1. Open the organizer.
2. In the main organizer menu, click File and then Get Photos and Videos; in the pull-down menu that appears, click your source – probably files and folders. Navigate to the correct folder, select the pictures you want, and click Get Photos.
3. Click on File and then Print.
4. In the Print Photos dialogue box that appears, select your printer. Use the Page Setup button at the bottom of the dialogue box to make sure your printer is set to letter-size paper.
5. Under Select Type of Prints, click on Picture Package.
6. Under Select a Layout, scroll down and click on Letter (3) 4x6. Select a frame if you wish.
7. Print the page.
Hope this helps!
