trial version of pse7

I just tried downloading the trial pse 7 onto Gateway Vista 64-bit computer. The editor in not accessible in quick fix, guided or full edit. The program freezes. Any ideas on how to remedy this?
I have pse3 on another computer, but thought it was time to upgrade. I am already having second thoughts.

As to your install problem.
Do you have Symantec and did you disable it during the install?
That frequently causes problems.

Hi Par3,

there is a known issue with PSE and Vista 64 Bit.
